Nokia and Intel Ready Marketing MeeGo


Not in vain joint ventures undertaken to prepare for Intel and Motorola common software platform in the early years. Nokia and Intel said on Tuesday (08/24/2010) that the software platform MeeGo resulting from their joint venture has been steady enough to be marketed.

"The response is really positive," said Mika tune, director of industry alliances at Nokia. While Martin Curley, head of Intel Labs Europe, said, "Community MeeGo active, spirited."

Nokia hopes MeeGo will help compete against Apple's iPhone and Google Android on top of the phone market.

Last year Nokia and Intel announced a broad cooperation agreement, also mentioned a plan to make the hardware together. "We are still exploring possibilities for the hardware together, but nothing more was published," said tune.
